After graduating from Harvard, Hunter and Katie devoured research papers on neuroscience, psychology, cultural cognition, expertise, and motivation. Using what they gathered from the scientific literature, the two developed a straightforward approach for turning disgruntled students into impassioned, self-aware, and proactive learners. Hunter and Katie have since appeared on dozens of radio and TV programs, including The Today Show. They've also been featured by the Edutopia and Wired websites, among others, and have been profiled by Amazon as innovative authors. They consult for several companies, including The Princeton Review, with whom they developed the Student Life in America survey, and scripted and hosted hundreds of SAT videos for the new Princeton Review online platform.

 

With The Straight-A Conspiracy now reaching a global audience, Hunter and Katie continue to write articles and produce episodes of the Mixed Mental Arts podcast (over 250,000 downloads per month to advance their mission of teaching everyone how to unlock their potential and become the kind of learner that will thrive in the 21st Century.)
